Weekends at Kak Mell

Weekend shifts in the family kitchen taught me the problems my software now solves.

About

I like the messy boundary where hardware, software, and play meet.

My final-year project, KompangXR, came out of that. I wired a physical drum with sensors, taught it to talk to a Unity app on a Quest 3, and built a mixed-reality trainer that reacts to how you actually hit it. The same instinct shows up in my games and the software I ship for real users.

Outside code, I lead. I chaired Motion in Focus, a motion-graphics exhibition at UTeM — directing 90+ committee members and 23 video works. I also organised a campus programming competition, wrote the problem set myself, and live-coded a solution on stage when contestants got stuck.

I'm after an internship from September 2026 in game dev, software, or web — anywhere I can build things people actually use.

Working with: C#, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Java, SQL, PHP, Unity 6, Unreal Engine 5, OpenXR, Meta XR SDK, React, Vite, Firebase, Arduino, OpenCV, Git.
